Here is an excellent example of good old American made goods. This amazing reclamation circa 1920’s has never been used “only tested” at the Wilcox Crittenden manufacturing facility in Middletown, Connecticut. Complete lantern!!! Galvanized body, brass top & carrying ring, brass burner, fresnel lens. The lens frame & hinges are copper. The fresnel lens is in perfect condition. No chips/cracks although there looks to be some type of anomaly in the glass when cast (please refer to pics) bottom center in front of the channel filler/puddy. Can’t feel any type of fissure/cracking/break. Awesome addition to any collection, nautical decor or beach home.
