Awesome example of a “Survivor”
This Original lantern looks to be a NOS “New Old Stock” light. It is a galvanized lantern and appears to have never been used.
It was once a battery operated light if you look at the wiring we left intact inside “see pic” connecting the on / off switch, that’s covered by the thumb nut cover hanging on the chain outside the lamp.
The fresnel lens is in excellent condition except for 1-tiny chip in the lower right-hand corner “see pic”.
To add or replace the bulb just run the lamp upside down, grab the handle and turn to the left.
The bottom will come right out.
We have added rubber feet to protect any surface, and have added an “indoor only” non-grounded power cord with an on/off switch.
This lamp would be an Excellent addition to any beach / lake home, office, man cave.
