Description
Bronze Fairlead “Through Bulwark”
w.double mooring cleats.
Super Rare Find!
If you have been looking for one here it is!
Vintage from the early 20th Century, even Google can’t find this one!
Solid brass construction!
No major dings, dents or cracks, would polish up nicely.
On one of the cleats you can definitely see where the weld was cleaned up where the cleat was added during manufacturing, but there isn’t any break / crack, it doesn’t look as though it was polished as nicely as the rest of the fairlead, please refer to pics.
As found, fairlead (has 6 mounting holes) recess into any dock / deck or larger boat for mooring.
Or add a little “nautical” to your place by using it to hang towels, coats, bridles, hats, anything! Awesome piece!
