These pistols were manufactured by several companies, including Webley & Scott, Molins, and Schermuly. They were standard-issue equipment for the British Army and Royal Navy during the Great Wars.
•Design: It features a single-shot, break-open action with a prominent hammer and a large trigger guard.
•Grips: This specific version has distinct silver-colored aluminum grips, which are a characteristic feature of many WWII-era production units.
•Barrel: It has a flared or “bell” muzzle, sometimes referred to as a “Pirate” barrel style.
•Caliber: Typically, these were designed for 1-inch (approx. 25mm-26.5mm) signal flares.
