Beautiful piece from a collection we purchased a few years back. The previous owner had the brass lamp polished and was a focal piece sitting on a pedestal in his living room. We haven’t been able to locate another…. even Google can’t find this one. Complete! Complete! Complete! There is absolutely nothing missing on this one. All the copper rivets are perfect. The brass manufacture tag is front and center, wooden carrying handle is in excellent shape. The fresnel lens is perfect. No chips/cracks, no screws, nuts or washers missing. The copper oil burner is original, the access door is perfect and the top opens/closes as it should. This is an excellent find being 70 years old. The only visible thing we can find is the brass signal window works but doesn’t close all the way (please refer to pictures). Also, there is a small dent in the bottom center of the light (refer to pictures). Don’t wait too long to add this awesome addition to your nautical collection as it will definitely be a topic of conversation.
