Antique Double Nautical wood block ship pulley w. “wood wheels”.
This is a rare find from the era of 1890 to 1910.
20” long x 7” wide x 6” tall with rope and iron hook extended. The rope is 1 1/8” diameter. The iron hook is 6 3/4” long (top of hook to the bottom of the hook eye).
Extremely hard to find “Early” wood pulley with jute rope / canvas cover holding the “cheeks / block” together.
The wooden pulley has a beautiful patina adding to its charm and historical authenticity. Perfect for collectors or those interested in nautical artifacts, this piece is sure to add character to any space with its unique design and vintage appeal. Both wooden wheels spin but (1) is cracked (see pic).
