1/8” thick mirror has been siliconed over the Original “Toughened” porthole glass.

The mirror in these portholes were installed overseas to provide you with better pricing, but you can see in the mirror some flaws, “ghosting i. e. where you can see the silicone through the painted back of the mirror, in some mirrors you can see red around the edges, this is the mirror starting to desilver due to humidity, just overall flaws in the mirror itself.  You could have your own mirror cut at any local shop and replace (just bust out this mirror, clean and re-install).

The inset / porthole flange has been milled off to mount flat against the wall.

All works as should, opens / closes, all parts are in perfect working condition.
